Nam Tran is an attorney at Warren Kalyan, where he advises business owners, real estate investors, and operators across the hospitality, multifamily housing, and small-to-mid-market (SMB) sectors. His practice includes business and real estate disputes, multifamily housing advisory, landlord–tenant litigation, and strategic legal counsel for companies navigating operational and transactional challenges.

Nam brings a diverse legal background spanning real estate, litigation, and risk analysis. He began his legal career in Omaha, Nebraska, where he served as claims counsel handling complex real estate matters across the Northwest and Great Lakes regions. In that role, he guided homeowners, lenders, and businesses through issues involving prior liens, legal description disputes, title defects, and adverse possession, developing a deep understanding of the legal and practical complexities surrounding property ownership and transactions.

Nam later returned to his hometown of Austin, Texas, where he focused on representing the multifamily housing industry in landlord–tenant litigation and related disputes. In that role, he advised property owners, operators, and management companies on the unique challenges facing residential and commercial real estate, helping clients navigate disputes efficiently while protecting their assets and operations.

At Warren Kalyan, Nam leverages his combined experience in real estate law, litigation, and business advisory to provide practical, business-oriented solutions to clients. He works closely with entrepreneurs, developers, and operators to address legal risks, resolve disputes, and support the continued growth of their businesses in fast-moving and highly regulated industries.

A native Austinite, Nam is a lifelong supporter of the Texas Longhorns across all sports. Outside the office, he enjoys traveling, golfing, exploring Austin’s food scene, attending music festivals and live shows, and experiencing new cultures around the world.
